7.00am 1st July 2021
Please be advised that the Cook Strait Ferrys resumed sailings at 9.00pm last night.
The last few days has seen a huge backlog in freight which is backed up at both Wellington and Picton.
It is expected that these volumes will not clear until the weekend which means some South Island deliveries will go into next week.
9.00am 29th June 2021
Please be advised that all Cook Strait Ferry Sailings have been cancelled for Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th June 2021 as the Polar Blast moves up New Zealand.
This will effect all South Island parcels despatched on Monday 28th June 2021 and we would expect delays for the remainder of the week as transport volumes back up in Wellington and due to this severe weather conditions deliveries will go into next week.
Note that there could also be delays in the North Island tonight with a possible closure of the Taupo to Napier Highway and areas of State Highway 1 South of Taupo through to Taihape.
Will update you further when we have information on hand.
