August 2021 Weather Updates

11.00am 9th August 2021 

It’s shaping up to be another bad week weather wise. 

Please note that the Taupo to Napier Road was closed earlier this morning and we expect that if it does open this afternoon it will close again tonight.  

Heavy snow is also expected tonight on the Desert Road through to Taihape. 

Please expect delays throughout the Lower North Island for all parcels despatched tonight. 

Cook Strait Ferrys have also been cancelled today and we expect further cancellations into Tuesday 10th August 2021. 

Please advise your customers that they will have delayed deliveries over the start of this week and until back logs are cleared.  

 

 

 

 

6.00am 4^th August 2021

Please be advised that due to bad weather conditions, all Cook Strait Ferry Services were cancelled last night and sailings have resumed this morning.

This has affected all North to South Island Parcels despatched last night and will take up to 2 days to clear the backlog.

Please allow an extra 1 to 2 days for delivery to all South Island Destinations as the backlog from last night is cleared.
