Please be advised that there will be continued delays to all areas South of Christchurch.
The closure of the State Highway 1 bridge South of Ashburton overnight has now further disrupted South services and the road link South is blocked.
In the meantime, parcels from North Island to Southern Areas of the South Island are backing up in Christchurch and we envisage that this will not clear until early next week.

Met Service have now issued a Red Warning for Canterbury and we advise that due to flooding no services will operate South of Christchurch tonight.
Christchurch and upper South Island areas are still being serviced but please expect delays.

As reported over the weekend heavy rain has caused widespread flooding and road closures throughout Canterbury.
Please expect delays to Christchurch, Timaru and Cromwell areas over this week and until the state of emergency is lifted over the region.
